Aerilate (Japanese: スカイスキン Sky Skin) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. Prior to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, it was the signature Ability of Mega Pinsir.
Effect
In battle
Aerilate causes all Normal-type moves used by the Pokémon to become Flying-type and receive a 30% base power boost. Unlike most Flying-type moves, moves that changed type due to this Ability cannot hit non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles, unless they could originally.
Outside of battle
Aerilate has no effect outside of battle.
