Plus (Japanese: プラス Plus) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Eight Pokémon can have this Ability. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Plusle.
Effect
In battle
Generations III and IV
When a Pokémon with Plus enters a Double Battle and has an ally with Minus, the Special Attack stat of the Pokémon with Plus is increased by 50%.
Generation V onwards
When a Pokémon with Plus enters a battle and has an ally with Plus or Minus, the Special Attack stat of the Pokémon with Plus is increased by 50%.
The move Magnetic Flux raises the Defense and Special Defense of allied Pokémon with Plus or Minus by 1 stage.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
A Pokémon with this Ability will receive a 50% bonus to Special Attack if an allied Pokémon has Minus.
Outside of battle
Plus has no effect outside of battle.
