History
Lugia first appeared in Legend? Go! Friends? Go!, where it appeared just outside Vermilion City. Its appearance caused many Trainers to engage it in battle, but none of the attacks had an effect on it. As Lugia started to fly away, Ash and Goh jumped onto Lugia, which led them to meet each other for the first time.
