Muramasa

Muramasa (Japanese: ムラマサ Muramasa) is a character of the day who appeared in Wired for Battle!.

In the past, Muramasa was an elite Pokémon Trainer, but became tired of winning and decided to open up an elite Pokémon Training School, located between Cherrygrove City and Azalea Town. His skills and experience attracts students from around the world.

However, one of his top students, Shingo, believed that he could predict the outcome of any battle with the help of his laptop. Muramasa stalked the nearby forest in search of a viable opponent for Shingo, and after seeing Ash and Pikachu, he invited them to his school. His hunch was correct, as Ash and Heracross eventually battled Shingo and defeated his Scizor. After thanking Ash for a great battle, Shingo decided to train harder underneath Muramasa.

Masamune (Japanese: マサムネ Masamune) is Muramasa's Scizor. It is a renowned battler, and earned the nickname The Crimson Streak because of its incredible speed and strength. Masamune's legacy is still respected by Muramasa's students, and it continues to train hard at the fighting dojo.

It first appeared stalking Team Rocket and Ash, which Muramasa later explained was part of their training. It was then seen with its Trainer, showing Ash and his friends around the fighting dojo. Later, it stopped Team Rocket from stealing Shingo's laptop, just before Shingo's Scizor took over. It appeared for a final time alongside Muramasa, watching Ash and Shingo battle.

None of Masamune's moves are known.
