(Japanese: ダンデのとある朝 A Morning in the Life of Dande) is the first of a two-episode audio drama launched in celebration of the airing of JN100. It was released via Twitter on March 25, 2022.

Plot

One morning, Leon is woken up by his Charizard, and he thanks it for doing so. He notes how good the weather is before gulping down a mixed Pecha Berry and Chesto Berry juice which energizes him. Leon then receives an incoming call from Sonia who, after a quick greeting, notifies him that the Dynamax Band he asked to have fixed is now ready. Leon expresses his relief and tells her that he'll be heading over right away. Sonia replies that she'll be waiting for him before the call ends. Afterwards, Leon sets off on his Charizard to meet Sonia. Along the way, he runs into some Corvisquire who Leon and Charizard challenge for a race. The Corvisquire quickly take the lead as Leon and Charizard fly after them.

Much later, Leon encounters Raihan who asks what he's doing there. Leon explains he got lost racing the Corvisquire before asking Raihan the same. Raihan replies that he lives in the area. Leon laughs at this remark, realizing he winded up in Hammerlocke when he meant to fly to Wedgehurst. Raihan proceeds to chide Leon's sense of direction, noting that he must have passed multiple mountains and lakes along the way. Suddenly, Sonia calls Leon again, telling him she's been waiting and asking when he plans to arrive. Leon sheepishly apologizes, telling her that he's currently in Hammerlocke, but he'll still head over right away, much to Sonia's protest. Leon then bids farewell to Raihan, telling him that he has to get going but would like to battle him again sometime. Exasperated, Raihan concludes that Leon has to be lacking in some area to be such a "beast on the battlefield", and that he at least got a picture with him.
