Dynamax Band

The Dynamax Band (Japanese: ダイマックスB Daimax Band) is a Key Item introduced in Generation VIII. It was invented by Oleana and allows a Trainer's Pokémon to Dynamax or Gigantamax in Power Spots and perform Max Moves.

Pokémon GO
On September 4, 2024, in conjunction with the release of Dynamax in Pokémon GO, the Dynamax Band was added to the game as a reward for completing the Special Research campaign, To the Max!. However, unlike the core series games, it is not required to Dynamax a Pokémon; rather, it is merely for cosmetic purposes.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series
Dynamax Bands first appeared in Flash of the Titans!, under the possession of Lance and Leon. Lance used his Dynamax Band to Dynamax his Gyarados during the World Coronation Series finals, while Leon used his own band to Gigantamax his Charizard. Leon can also use his Dynamax Band to Gigantamax his Rillaboom, as shown in Curtain Up! Fight the Fights!, and his Cinderace, as seen in Partners in Time!, while Lance was seen using his Dynamax Band to also Dynamax his Dragonite in Pride of a Champion!.
In The Climb to Be the Very Best!, Leon gave Ash a Dynamax Band of his own so that he could Gigantamax his Pikachu during their battle. After the battle, Leon let Ash keep the Dynamax Band. Starting from The Winding Path to Greatness!, Ash also became able to use his Dynamax Band to Gigantamax his Gengar.
A Dynamax Band belonging to Raihan first appeared in Toughing It Out!. He uses it to Gigantamax his Duraludon.
In Sword and Shield: The Darkest Day!, Sonia fashioned a Wishing Star she and Goh had found into a Dynamax Band, which she gave to Goh. He later used it to Dynamax his Raboot in a battle against one of Oleana's subordinates, who had used his own Dynamax Band to Gigantamax his Garbodor.
In Ultra Exciting from the Shocking Start!, Bea was revealed to own a Dynamax Band. She was first seen using it in A Battle of Mega Versus Max!, Gigantamaxing her Machamp during her third World Coronation Series battle against Ash.
In The Sweet Taste of Battle!, a Dynamax Band appeared in Opal's possession. She used it to Gigantamax her Alcremie during her battle with Ash.
In Battling Turned Up to Eleven!, Marnie was shown to own a Dynamax Band. She used it to Gigantamax her Grimmsnarl during her World Coronation Series match against Ash.
In Valor: A Strategic Part of Battling!, Cynthia was shown to own a Dynamax Band. She used it to Dynamax her Togekiss during her Masters Eight Tournament battle against Ash.

In The Bittersweet Truth, a Dynamax Band appeared in Kabu's possession.

Sword & Shield arc
Two Dynamax Bands first appeared in Zap!! A Rising Beam of Light, under the ownership of Henry and Casey, respectively. Henry was first seen using his Dynamax Band to catch a Gurdurr during a Max Raid Battle. In Ooh Shiny!! Legendary Equipment, it was revealed that these two Dynamax Bands had been made from Wishing Stars the two Pokédex holders had found a year earlier in the Slumbering Weald.
Like in the games, each Galar Gym Leader, excluding Piers, also owns a Dynamax Band. The same also applies to Hop, Bede, Marnie, Leon, Oleana, and Rose.

Pokémon Mezastar: Aim to Be a Tag Master!
Dynamax Bands first appeared in MTM03, under the possession of Suguru Tsukino and Kira Hoshio. They were seen again in the following chapter. From MTM07 onward, Kira used his Dynamax Band regularly. In MTM11, Kira was seen to have upgraded to a Dynamax Band + (Japanese: ダイマックスバンド+ Daimax Band +).
