(Japanese: レン Ren) is a character of the day who appeared in Distant Blue Sky!.
Ren was first seen swimming in a lake where he was chased by a Gyarados. Ren bumped into Ash who was also swimming in the lake and was able to get out of the water. Ren watched as Ash battled and attempted to catch the Gyarados, only for the Gyarados to flee.
After this, Ren had a battle against Ash, using his Machamp to battle against Pikachu, only to be defeated.

Machamp is Ren's only known Pokémon. Machamp was used in Ren's battle against Ash, only to be defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
Machamp's only known move is Hyper Beam.
