The King and Queen of the Mirage Kingdom are the rulers of the Mirage Kingdom, and also Princess Sara's parents. They appeared in The Princess and the Togepi and A Togepi Mirage!.
In The Princess and the Togepi, Misty confronted Princess Sara, her parents, and Miranda, who had her Togepi in their possession. The King quickly realized that the theft of Misty's Togepi was a part of a bigger plot by Colonel Hansen, and sincerely apologized for the disruption. He instructed Miranda to prepare an airship to escort Ash and his friends from the Mirage Kingdom.
In A Togepi Mirage!, Colonel Hansen kidnapped Misty's Togepi, locked the King and Queen away in the dungeon, and ascended to the throne. However, Ash, his friends, and Misty's newly-evolved Togetic eventually defeated Hansen, and the monarchs were released. Because of Hansen’s treason to his country and the royal family, The King ordered Hansen to be arrested.
