Aliquis's Meowscarada (Japanese:アリキスのマスカーニャ Aliquis's Masquernya) is Aliquis's first known Pokémon and his Starter Pokémon.

History

Meowscarada and Aliquis

Pre-series

Before the events of the series, Aliquis and Sprigatito became great partners, promising each other that together they would become the strongest. As time passed, Sprigatito and Aliquis won several battles and Sprigatito managed to evolve until it became a powerful Meowscarada.

Pokémon: Paldean Winds

In Breath Out, Meowscarada was first seen alongside its Trainer while he was observing Nemona.

In Breathe In, Meowscarada was used in a battle against Nemona's Kilowattrel, which was defeated without much difficulty, despite trying its best. This defeat made people question Meowscarada's ability, which made Aliquis feel insecure about using his oldest Pokémon partner in battle, after a brief fight with Aliquis, Meowscarada fled causing Aliquis to decide to battle Nemona without a strategy in mind.

Meowscarada's gluttonous personality

During the battle, Aliquis felt sad about the way he acted towards his Pokémon and Meowscarada returned to him. After reconciling, Meowscarada used Terastalization to face Nemona's Tauros, with a renewed bond and fighting on equal terms, Aliquis and Nemona finally managed to show their real strength in a battle.

In Take a Breath, it was revealed that Meowscarada and the other Aliquis' Pokémon were defeated in the battle shown in the previous episode. After Aliquis apologized to Ohara, Aliquis and Meowscarada decided that this will not stop them from winning in the future.

In Breathe Together, Meowscarada was used by Aliquis in a battle that was used as part of Naranja Academy's introduction to new students. Later, in the classroom, Meowscarada was seen with Aliquis when the video work was done and Aliquis talked about using Meowscarada in a battle against Aliquis' brother, and together they went home leaving only Ohara and Fuecoco behind.

Personality and characteristcs

Meowscarada shares many of the characteristics of its Trainer, often seen eating sweets or following Aliquis wherever he goes. Meowscarada is the "ace" of Aliquis' team, so with its absence, Aliquis was left without a defined strategy to battle Nemona.
