Aliquis (Japanese: アリキス Aliquis) is a main character in Pokémon: Paldean Winds. He attends Naranja Academy.
History
In Breathe Out, Aliquis was seen from Ohara and Hohma meeting to discuss school work about making a video about Naranja Academy. During the meeting, he was looking outside at Nemona, who he was going to have a battle with the next day. He was later seen being interviewed by Hohma as part of the video shoot and later when Ohara was performing, Aliquis was with the other members of Naranja Academy watching the concert.
In Breathe In, Aliquis finally had his battle with Nemona but was easily defeated. Frustrated with the defeat, Aliquis' brother suggested that he leave Meowscarada aside in the next battles, which left Aliquis quite confused on how to act in the next battles. Soon after, when Aliquis was talking to Ohara about the video, Aliquis became irritated by a thing said by Ohara and blamed the defeat on his Pokémon. After Meowscarada left the place, Aliquis decided that he would have one again with Nemona, which made Hohma decide to announce this new battle.
In battle, Nemona again received an upper hand, defeating all the Pokémon that Aliquis put on the field. After taking a candy in place of his last Poké Ball, Aliquis remembered the past, when he and Sprigatito decided that they would become strong together. Regretful of how he treated his first Pokémon, Aliquis finally recognized the bond they had with each other, and suddenly, Meowscarada appeared on the battlefield. Recognizing the strength of Aliquis and Meowscarada, Aliquis and Nemona continued the battle, this time with each Terastallizing their Pokémon. This time, fighting on equal terms with Nemona, Aliquis wanted to demonstrate to his rival the bond they had.
In Take a Breath, it was revealed that Aliquis lost the battle against Nemona, a few days later, Aliquis apologized to Ohara for the way he acted during the argument they had, this made them return to the video project that they needed to present about Naranja Academy. While Hohma tried to contact Team Star, Aliquis and Ohara tried to call Iono for their video, but to no avail. When meeting again with Hohma and Ohara, the trio reached a consensus on the ideal style that their video would have.
In Breathe Together, after viewing the finished work on the video, Aliquis and his friends told them what their plans are for the next few days, Aliquis revealed that he was returning home so he could battle his brother. After that, Aliquis said goodbye to Ohara who was left alone in the room next to her Fuecoco.
Character
Aliquis is a hard-working student. He loves Pokémon battles and challenging gyms. He also really likes a certain candy that looks similar to Meowscarada's Flower Bombs, specifically, the sweet ones.
