Wired for Battle! (Japanese: バトルしようぜ!ハッサムVSへラクロス!! Let's Battle! Hassam VS Heracross!!) is the 140th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on March 23, 2000 and in the United States on February 24, 2001.

- It is said that Scizor are known for their speed, however Scizor actually have a lower base speed than Scyther.
- There are some shots in the Heracross/Scizor battle that are colored digitally.

Errors
- Shingo commands his Scizor to finish the match with False Swipe. Unfortunately for him, False Swipe can never cause a Pokémon to faint.
- In Who's That Pokémon? Cyndaquil appears to only have one arm.
