The Grass type is one of the nine TCG elemental types.

The Grass type contains all Poison, Bug, and Grass Pokémon found in the Game Boy games. For example, Muk, Beedrill and Sceptile are all Grass types in the TCG. However, if the Pokémon is a Template:Type2 in the games, starting with Diamond & Pearl, they are depicted as Psychic-type.


Battle properties

Generally Grass Pokémon have a weakness to:

  • Fire (if the Pokémon was a Grass or Bug type in the Game Boy game)
  • Psychic (if the Pokémon was a Poison type in the Game Boy game)
