Sceptile (Japanese: ジュカイン Jukain) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.

It evolves from Grovyle starting at level 36. It is the final form of Treecko.

Biology

Physiology

Sceptile is based off of a lizard. Sceptile is the final evolution of the Treecko family. Sceptile has six nodules on its back (like those on leguminous plants able to take in nitrogen from the air) and a palm-tree-branch-like tail. It can leap through trees with ease.

Gender differences

None.

Special abilities

Sceptile's signature move* is Leaf Blade. It is a move known by wild and captive Sceptile alike, this move is learned by Sceptile and Grovyle by practicing "Forest Combat". Also, being a Pokémon bearing seeds bursting with nutrients, it can perfect moves such as SolarBeam and Synthesis, and it is a Pokémon with dragon-like characteristics, so it can learn Dragon Pulse, Dragon Claw and DragonBreath. Frenzy Plant is rarely known by wild Sceptile.

Behavior

Sceptile are very protective of their environment and the Pokémon that live in it. It attacks unwary trainers that wander into its forest. It agilely leaps from tree branches. It has an incredible speed-stat. It is not beaten in terms of quickness.

Habitat

Sceptile being known as "Lord of the Forest" lives in heavily thick forest. It is known to have nodules like those on leguminous plants bursting with nutrients. It revitalizes fallen trees in its forest.
