Kyle is a Pokémon trainer who is a son of Master Hamm, a dojo trainer.
He works on a local noodle shop in Saffron City and is forced to run the Dojo Gym by his father. He refuses and he challenged him to a match with his own Hitmonchan to see if he would run it or not. When Team Rocket interrupted to steal Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, Terri used Hitmontop to save them. They blasted off again with Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
Now his truth is revealed. He explains that the reason why he wanted to start his business cooking up noodles is because when he was a child, he loved eating the noodles and he wanted to fulfill his dream selling and cooking it. His father allowed him to do so.
