Factory Head Thorton (Japanese: ファクトリーヘッド ネジキ Factory Head Nejiki) is the Frontier Brain in charge of running the Battle Frontier's Battle Factory.

He is the Frontier Brain of the Battle Factory in the Sinnoh and Johto regions.

• Random each time. He could have anything except for the Pokémon that are not admissible in the Battle Frontier. These include Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus.

• In English, his title is the only Frontier Brain title held by another person, Noland. However, both Palmer and Anabel share the same title in the Japanese version: Tower Tycoon.
• Thorton's Platinum artwork shows his Vs. Recorder on the left side of his waist. However, in his in-game sprite, it is on his right.
