Dawn's Togekiss (Japanese: ヒカリのトゲキッス Hikari's Togekiss) is the eighth Pokémon obtained by Dawn. She was originally owned by Princess Salvia and later given to Dawn. She is voiced by 井上喜久子 Kikuko Inoue in Japanese.
Seeing they have identical appearances, Salvia and Dawn switches places so that the former can participate in a Pokémon Contest. Using Togekiss, Salvia performs very well in the initial round. She also uses Togekiss in the final round against Jessie's Seviper. She managed to win the match, and thus, the Contest. Salvia later gives Togekiss to Dawn so that she can fulfill her dream of participating in Contests.
In DP172, Dawn decided to start training Togekiss for the upcoming Grand Festival, when it became fast friends with Piplup. During training, Togekiss was used in battle against Gible and although the two were evenly matched the battle was stopped when Togekiss shielded Piplup from Gible's still-unreliable Draco Meteor. Togekiss then talked to Gible, warning him to be more careful with his moves causing Gible to show regret for his carelessness. Although Dawn was initially upset with Togekiss for constantly using graceful moves in battle, she eventually realized that she had to adjust to Togekiss' battle style rather than make Togekiss adapt to hers. She later used this when battling Jessie and her Yanmega, who was looking for revenge against Dawn for her defeat in the Katakori Contest (although Dawn wasn't aware of this as she is still unaware that Jessie is also Jessilina). After a hard-fought battle, Togekiss' grace eventually won through and Yanmega was defeated.

Trivia
- Togekiss was first revealed in the Japanese opening The Greatest - Everyday!
- Togekiss is the second Pokémon obtained by Dawn from another trainer specifically for competition in Contests. The first was Ambipom.
- Interestingly, both are Generation IV Pokémon that are part of a Generation II evolutionary family, were used by their original Trainers in a Contest before becoming Dawn's Pokémon, and are Template:Type2 Pokémon.
