Riley

Gen (Japanese: ゲン) is an Pokémon trainer from Sinnoh. He is one of seven trainers who can join with the main character during an event in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Later, he can join the player in competition at Sinnoh's Battle Tower. He first appears at Iron Island. He uses a Lucario and seems to be designed after Sir Aaron. Gen will give the player Riolu egg after finishing the event.

In the Battle Tower, Gen uses Pokémon that specialize in the physical attack stat. He uses the following Pokémon:
