Name

I always thought Yanmega/Megayanma was Yanma (obvious) and Mega, as in great, large, better, not this odd prehistoric insect. Couldn't Mega be the source? ---Sk8torchic

  • Considering it evolves by knowing Ancient Power like Piloswine which also evolves into a pokemon that seems to be based off of an extinct animal, chances are it is based off the prehistoric insect.--Shinin 11:39, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Naming Issue

Shouldn't there be a mention of the renaming from Megayanma to Yanmega on this page, it's perfect for trivial.

Ogre Darner Pokémon

What the heck does this mean?! --i herd u liek Treakos? 21:10, 30 January 2010 (UTC) Kimori-Hinoarashi

Darner is apparently some sort of insect species according to Wiktionary and an ogre is something ugly...so it's probably saying that its an ugly bug to put it simply, I guess...--Psyライダー 21:17, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Darn those stupid ogres! Should this go into the name origin section? --i herd u liek Treakos? 21:36, 1 February 2010 (UTC) Kimori-Hinoarashi

EVs

Could you please decide what kind of EV points does Yanmega give to your Pokémon? You say "2 special attack points", but every other Pokédex you have a link to states "2 attack points".... Piotr mil 11:43, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
