You get a gold star. TTEchidna 05:28, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Oo thanks. Why? Piotr mil 11:42, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Good contributions so far, especially to the Routes project. TTEchidna 03:12, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Accent the e in Pokémon! Alt+0233! Or use the character palette, located conveniently below the edit window. But please, please, please, accent that e! --Pie ~ 19:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Ups, sorry. Polish version of edit section doesn't have a palette (can this be fixed anyhow?).

Piotr, are you Polish? --Maxim 13:47, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Ja, naturlich, of course, że jestem Polish Piotr mil 14:44, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

How do you make a picture link to something? --Shiny NoctowlTalk|Trivia quiz 21:13, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

You need a special template to make that. I took it from English Wikipedia. It is really tricky: using < div > sections, you just make two cells, one on another. The lower one has the picture, the upper has linked text. But letters are really HUGE and invisible to make sure you will click the link. That's how it works. This template is known as "Click", but as far as i can see, it has been replaced recently by <imagemap> (on the original wikipedia). You can use mine Piotr mil 15:15, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
It works, but how do I get the picture on the same line as the rest of the text? --Shiny NoctowlTalk|Trivia quiz

PS: I managed to slightly improve it. The improved version is here.

ShinyGold template

Use the {{User Template}} template to make it without having to make an actual article... All right? TTEchidna 04:35, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Project pages

Please stop editing your user talk pages. Even though they are technically project pages, and useful ones at that, this is considered getting around the ban. I asked Shiningpikablu252 if I could create one, and he told me not to (see his talk page), so please, just hold off until the ban is lifted. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 02:18, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --PhantomJunkie 16:26, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for this information. I was actually trying to invent something to improve Bulbapedia Templates. But now I will go back to notepad, because clearly Bulbapedia is not place to improve Bulbapedia. Piotr mil 16:35, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
It's fine to work on improvements to templates in your userspace, but not when you make 14 edits in the span of less than an hour. Usersubpages count toward the total for userspace edits, which is currently set at 3 per day. If you had only gone over by one or two, I wouldn't have even put the message on your page, but you went way over. Try using the Preview button next time? --PhantomJunkie 16:37, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, I used Preview button a lot. The thing is when it comes to testing templates they need to exist in the first place, i.e. be previously saved. Luckily, I moved to Wikipedia's sandbox (and notepad). Piotr mil 16:52, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
In all technicalities, though, his testing's legit. Though I've already begun setup of my own revamp of the template, here. TTEchidna 00:04, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, your one looks pretty amazing, though I still see no way to make rematch battles with your template. Piotr mil 13:12, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for this information. I was actually trying to do something to improve Bulbapedia Templates (like trainerentry). I understand that helping and contributing is a horrible, horrible crime against law, nature and Arceus, but I will continue editing my name space, because I hope that these edits will someday be included in the main space. To help you understand my situation, I restrict the amount of breaths that you can take: no more than three per day - remember, every particle of oxygen is important. Sincerely, Piotr mil 08:11, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Okay, please refrain from that snarky attitude of yours. We understand you are trying to help and encourage it. But you can use that pretty preview button that's there when editing. We are only warning because the userspace has that limit in order to lower down those 504s and site issues we currently have. Also, if you continue editing that userspace like you said and ignore us, I'll be sure to give the abuse usergroup to you. Thanks for understanding, --CoolPikachu! 08:19, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Oh, I use "Preview" button a lot. But, you see, when you try to edit a template, you need to save it before you can test it, otherwise it will simply not work, which means, that i have to use the Save button, because the preview button is not powerful enough. Thank you for understanding. Piotr mil 08:26, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, templates do that if you realize you have gone past the limit, it's time to stop and not go overboard to prevent this type of thing from happening and no problem :). --CoolPikachu! 08:36, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Allow me to poke in. Did anyone here even thought about removing this idiotic automatic welcome message system? I'm sure that this is stressing the server WAY MORE than users editing their userspace. Let's eradicate this idiotism and we'll be able to edit our userspace way more. --Maxim 09:15, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Piotr mil: not all templates need to be saved to be tested. A lot of the changes you made could have, I feel, been made with fewer edits. The reason that some templates need to be saved to test is because these templates react differently when variables are changed, such as templates with switch statements. Your template does not have any extra variables (besides the background color), and I don't think this is a viable excuse. Bulbagarden may have five servers at the moment, but 504s still pop up, especially with the BW load that is still building. We need to focus on building the encyclopedia at the moment. I hope my point is clear. Also lose the attitude. It is not welcome here.
Maxim: thanks for your input, but please poke out now. —darklordtrom 09:29, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
