The Proprietor (Japanese: マスター Master) is a recurring character who first appeared in Flint Sparks the Fire!. His name is unknown. He is voiced by Bob Senkewicz in English.
He used to be a Pokémon poacher when Volkner and Flint were little kids. He fought against Volkner and his Pikachu, and later became a friend of both Volkner and Flint.
He also made an appearance in The Fleeing Tower of Sunyshore!.

His Houndoom fought against both Flint's Chimchar and Volkner's Pikachu when they were young boys, and defeated Volkner's Pikachu one-on-one. It made a brief appearance with its owner in The Fleeing Tower of Sunyshore!.
Its only known attacks are Flamethrower and Crunch.
