Trivia
- Despite Buffalon's Pokedex entry stating that its afro protects it from recoil damage, Buffalon can't have Rock Head as any of its abilities (Not even in the Dream World).
Origin
Buffalon is based on a buffalo; specifically, an American Bison. However, the horns more closely resemble those of the African Water Buffalo. The fur on its head resembles an afro.
Name origin
Its name is derived from バッファロー buffalo, アフロ afro and bison.
