Trivia
- Kibago is the only Dragon-type Pokémon to be the first stage of a non Pseudo-legendary evolution line.
- Kibago was first seen on concept art from the Best Wishes series along with Janovy, Futachimaru, and Koromori.
- Kibago is one of the few Pokémon that is not fully evolved that can learn Giga Impact. The other Pokémon that are like this are Onondo, Yorterrie, and Haderia.
Origin
Kibago's tusks are similar in appearance to Scutosaurid's or possibly Ceratopsid's cheekbone tusks. Its crest may be based off a Hadrosaurid's, more specifically Saurolophid's, or possibly a Corytophanid's, possibly the Plumed basilisk's.
Name origin
Kibago may be derived from 牙 kiba, tusk, and 顎 ago, jaw.
