Poison Sting (Japanese: どくばり Poison Needle) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Poison Sting inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target. Poison Sting cannot poison the target if it has a Substitute, already has a major status ailment, or is a Poison-type or Steel-type.
