Could Night Shade be considered a variation of Seismic Toss (or vice versa)?

I don't think they're variations, on the strictest sense of the definition by this wiki. Their PP differs. They are largely similar moves, however. --DarkfireTaimatsu 20:38, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

One thing that should be noted: Despite being a Ghost-type move, it can't damage Shedinja. Possibly because Night Shade can't deal super-effective damage, and Wonder Guard will prevent direct damage from any attack that isn't super-effective against Shedinja. Diachronos 16:25, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
