The Fighting type is one of the ten TCG types. It is represented by the color brown.
The Fighting type usually contains all Fighting, Rock, and Ground Pokémon found in the video games. For example, Machamp, Golem, and Dugtrio are all Fighting types in the TCG.
Battle properties
Generally Fighting Pokémon have a weakness to:
- Psychic (if the Pokémon was a Fighting-type in the video games)
- Grass (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Rock-type in the video games)
- Water (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Rock-type in the video games)
Generally Fighting Pokémon have a resistance to:
- Lightning (if the Pokémon was a Ground-type in the video games)
These types are generally weak to Fighting Pokémon:
- Darkness
- Colorless (if the type of the resistant Pokémon was a Normal-type in the video games)
These types are generally resistant to Fighting Pokémon:
- Colorless (if the type of the resistant Pokémon was a Flying-type in the video games)
