Upon encountering one of N's Pokémon, the game will notify the player that the Pokémon has been previously owned by a powerful Trainer and will also show a sprite entry animation that is similar to the Shiny Pokémon sprite, but instead has its own sound and the Pokémon is surrounded by green and yellow diamond lights. However, these Pokémon have no chance of being a Shiny. Once captured, the Pokémon will have N's ID Number, 00002. These Pokémon cannot be nicknamed since they have no Secret ID.

N's Pokémon (Japanese: Nのポケモン N's Pokémon) are Pokémon in Black 2 and White 2 that were previously owned by the Pokémon Trainer N.

In the games

N's Pokémon are obtainable via Memory Link, with the exception of N's Zorua, who is obtainable through the main story by defeating Rood and obtaining it from him. Once Memory Link is used, if the player has completed the story line of Pokémon Black and White (defeating N and Ghetsis), the player can see a flashback of N releasing his Pokémon with a Team Plasma Grunt prior to the events of N's Castle in Black and White in Chargestone Cave.
