In the anime
Seigaiha City was first mentioned by Jeremy in BW093 as a suggestion for Kotetsu's eighth gym.
It made its only anime appearance in the latter part of BW094. Marlon brought Ash and Kotetsu here through his Wailord after the two got lost after separating from Cilan and Iris. At Seigaiha Gym, Kotetsu battled the Gym Leader for his eighth gym badge in Unova.
Trivia
- Seigaiha's Japanese motto is 表すは 穏やかな 海.
- In the photo stand-in of the two Frillish, the male Frillish's eyes are incorrectly colored and are the inverse of what they should be.
