They go to meet the [[Elder|Village Elder]], and she judges {{TP|Iris|Axew}} and Iris's progress, before two other villagers ask if Iris has any other {{t|Dragon|Dragon Pokémon}} and asks if they can see them. Outside, Iris calls out {{TP|Iris|Dragonite}}, who promptly battles with a {{p|Haxorus}}. After being calmed down by the Elder, Dragonite is recalled, and they go to see Shannon. The Elder is then seen talking to a hidden [[Drayden]] about Iris. Shannon invites them in to have lunch, and when they finish, they find one of the {{p|Zweilous}} that she takes care of is gone. They go on find it by a lake as it evolves into Hydreigon. After seeing its reflection and using {{m|Draco Meteor}} in rage, {{p|Hydreigon}} goes on a rampage around the village. With the help of {{TP|Iris|Emolga}} and Dragonite, Iris is able to corner the Hydreigon and calm it down. Later, Shannon apologizes and plucks up the courage to ask the Elder if she can go on a journey after the other Zweilous evolves. The Elder says she has been waiting for her to ask, and promptly agrees. Also, before that, the gang meet Drayden, who Iris apologizes to for 'leaving the school', when Drayden complements that she has grown stronger and will be waiting for her at the [[Opelucid Gym]]. She is overjoyed by the compliment, and the gang make their way to [[Opelucid City]].

A Village Homecoming! (Japanese: アイリス、竜の里へ帰る! Iris Returns to the Village of Dragons!) is the 100th episode of the Best Wishes series, and the 757th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on October 25, 2012 and in the United States on February 16, 2013.
