Is it necessary to call them Poké Ball Seals? I don't remember them being referred to as anything but just Seals in the games. And really, what other seals are there? (Seel and Spheal don't count.) --Pie ~♪♫ 20:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ding-dang-done. Should it be moved to Seal, though? After all, that's what we did with Plates. --TTEchidna 21:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Isn't "Seal" a bad interpretation of the word シール, which means sticker? --Maxim 09:30, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- Plus, in Prima's guide they're mentioned as stickers. --Empoleon ''Bono'' Bonaparte 13:40, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Looking at all the definition of "seal", I don't see why it doesn't work. Especially since that Japanese word was quite possibly derived from our English word. --Pie ~♪♫ 15:33, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- While it's nigh pointless to even mention, for the record, シール is quite literally "seal." Silmina 17:49, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Wouldn't it be a good idea if we could get some screen shots of what the differnt seals look like and do? Personaly i've been looking for such a list and been unable to find one. -- Ai_Hikari
- Yeah, I just came here to ask that same question. I think we could improve the article with some shots. Only I don't know how to get them onto the web. Dialgarules 02:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Contest Stub
Why isn't this listed (along with Ball Capsules) in the contest stub?
--HoennMaster 10:25 PM (CST) April 14, 2008
- Probably due to the video game applications of those items being used only for battle, not in contests. If seals and ball capsules went by the game trends in the anime, it would be Ash overusing them and not Dawn. --Shiningpikablu252 03:28, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Trivia?
Would it be worth mentioning in trivia that you can conceivably have obscenities in a Pokémon game by using the Unown letter seals?
Generation V
Are they in Generation V? TorchicBlaziken (talk•edits) 16:34, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Twinkle, Burst, and Liquid Seals
So while playing around with Action Replay, I found three other Seals called Twinkle, Burst, and Liquid. But they aren't mentioned anywhere on this page and I'm not sure where to put them. I only found these seals in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Not certain if there is a legal way of obtaining them, perhaps the little girl gives them out? I'm also not sure of their whereabouts in DPPt.
