Trivia

Some early prints of the card rotate the Fighting symbol in Dig's Energy cost 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Origin

Dig is a move in the Pokémon games that Diglett can learn. Mud-Slap later became an actual move in Generation II; it can also be learned by Diglett. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
