Shadow Force (Japanese: シャドーダイブ) is a very highly-damaging Ghost-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Shadow Force causes the user to "vanish instantly" for one turn, rendering it invulnerable, then reappear the next to cause damage. The only circumstances in which it will not hit the foe are if the foe has used a move such as Dive or Fly, or if the foe is a Normal type. It will hit even if the foe has used Protect or Detect.
