Powder (Japanese: ふんじん Dust) is a non-damaging Bug-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of Vivillon.
Effect
Powder causes damage if the target uses a Fire-type move. This move is an increased priority move and deals damage regardless of type. When the opposing Pokémon chooses a Fire-type attack, not only do they take damage from the explosion, but their turn also ends without completing the selected move.
