Kenny's Prinplup (Japanese: ケンゴのポッタイシ Kengo's Pottaishi) is Kenny's main Pokémon in the anime. It is also his starter Pokémon. It is voiced by 小西克幸 Katsuyuki Konishi in Japanese and by Bill Rogers in English.

Prinplup was first seen in Getting the Pre-Contest Titters!. It proved to be very strong when it was battling against Ash's Pikachu. In the next episode, it put up a good fight against Dawn's Piplup. At first Prinplup didn't want to friend its weaker pre-evolve form, but after being saved by Piplup, they soon became friends.

It is Kenny's signature Pokémon.
