Poké Miles (Japanese: ポケマイル Poké Miles) are a type of currency introduced in Pokémon X and Y. They can be earned in a variety of ways, such as by walking around the Kalos and Hoenn regions (1 Mile for every 1000 steps) and by interacting with other players by trading (online, local wireless communication, or infrared connection), battling online or through the 3DS's StreetPass function. They can also be earned by storing Pokémon in Pokémon Bank.
Exchanging
Poké Miles can be exchanged in-game for items or sent to the Pokémon Global Link through Game Sync. Poké Miles cannot be sent back to a game from the Global Link, but they may be transferred between the balances for two games registered to the same Global Link account.
There are a few ways the player may spend Poké Miles.
- In the Pokémon Center in Lumiose City's South Boulevard, a Butler will exchange items for the player's Poké Miles.
- In the PokéMileage Club on the Global Link, items are also exchanged for Poké Miles, but the prices are half-price or better compared to the Lumiose City shop.
- In the PokéMileage Club, the player may also spend Poké Miles to play attractions and win items.
- In the PokéMileage Center, a Gentleman will exchange items for the player's Poké Miles.
Items obtained on the Global Link will be delivered by a messenger to a Pokémon Center the next time the player syncs their game.
