:Because that's the most recent artwork. Most of the Gen II Pokémon that got new art in FRLG didn't get HGSS art. [[User:Werdnae|Werdnae]] [[User talk:Werdnae|(talk)]] 22:01, 5 June 2011 (UTC) | :Because that's the most recent artwork. Revision as of 08:24, 6 April 2016
Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of Gold and Silver in Japan, and Gold and Silver in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display. |
Smeargle
Why would you list Smeargle as the desired father when passing certain moves through breeding, unless there is no alternative (which there may not be any cases of at all)? Seems sloppy. For instance, why not just list Dunsparce as the desired father for Spite? --ANinyMouse 04:14, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Smeargle can learn practically any move through Sketch. SharKing 04:20, 25 August 2008 (UTC)SharKing
Will' O Wisp and Vulpix
Um...why does it say that Vulpix can only pass down Will O' Wisp in Generation III, if it can also learn it in Generation IV? - unsigned comment from MajinNecro69 (talk • contribs)
- Because of the Will O' Wisp TM in IV. TinaTheKirlia 16:36, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
The Image
Why are we using the Fire Red/Leaf Green art work? Buizel1991 11:06, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Because that's the most recent artwork. Most of the Gen II Pokémon that got new art in FRLG didn't get HGSS art. Werdnae (talk) 22:01, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
Name Origin
Seems to me the gar part of the original name may refer to Garmr[1]. It matches the theme of a hellhound pretty damn closely. --Vanya (talk) 08:24, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
