In the Pokémon Adventures manga
Apricorns were first mentioned in Teddiursa's Picnic, in which Kurt used various Apricorns to make special Poké Balls. Gold attempted and failed to eat the fruit of an Apricorn. Apricorns were later mentioned in Out-Odding Oddish, in which Gold was seen running after adding Apricorns into the Apriblender so the Apricorns would mix to make Aprijuice.
Trivia
- In Generation IV, Green Apricorns are by far the most common, appearing in eight places.
- Green Apricorn trees are generally found where Berry and MysteryBerry trees were in Generation II.
- In Japanese, the Green Apricorn is the only Apricorn unable to have its full color name, using the abbreviated form みど mido rather than みどり midori for green.
