Ash's Gligar (Japanese: サトシのグライガー Satoshi's Gliger) is the fourth Pokémon captured by Ash Ketchum in the Sinnoh region. Its Japanese voice actor is 小西克幸 Katsuyuki Konishi.
Ash caught Gligar in DP064. It and a Gliscor had become trapped in a city after being blown there by a violent windstorm. Gliscor's attempts at using sonar to navigate out of the city were blocked by the tall buildings, and only served to attract more Gligar and the Pokémon soon formed a pack.
The pack survived by picking fruit from trees, and stealing food from humans. After Ash and his friends save the pack, Gligar decides to travel with Ash, allowing him to capture it.
Gligar seems to have habit of licking its lips and winking when appearing. It also has a tendency to crash land on top of Ash.

Trivia
- Gligar is the second Pokémon of the Template:Type2 Ash has captured in Sinnoh.
- Gligar is also the third Flying-type Pokémon Ash has ever captured whose other type wasn't Normal, the other two being Butterfree and Charizard.
- Gligar is Ash's third Template:Type2, right after Donphan and Larvitar, though Larvitar wasn't technically his.
- Ash's capture of Gligar brings another Generation II Pokémon to the group in the Diamond & Pearl series, the others being Aipom and Sudowoodo.
- Gligar is the only Pokémon in the party of Ash and his friends that is not a Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex. Jessie, however, has Seviper and Wobbuffet.
- Gligar's means of capture is similar to Ash's Squirtle, in that it was part of a group of Pokémon of its species causing trouble for a town, joined because it wanted to go with Ash, filled Ash's party with six members, and was captured shortly before Ash met up with the region's third Gym Leader.
- Ash's Gligar appears on Route 215, a route where it is possible to catch Gligar via the dongle method using Pokémon Emerald.
- Gligar is the 50th Pokémon species Ash has owned counting Larvitar, Haunter, and Raticate.
- Gligar is the first Pokémon caught by Ash to not have any known attacks.
