Go's Scyther (Japanese: ゴウストライク Go's Strike) is Go's thirteenth known Pokémon.

History

Scyther first appeared in SS006, where it was the last Bug-type Pokémon native to the Kanto region that Go needed to catch. Go battled the Mantis Pokémon briefly with his Scorbunny before capturing it. After its capture, it was seen with all his other Pokémon before Professor Sakuragi suggested leaving it at his Institute.

In SS007, Go used Scyther in his first Pokémon battle during the Battle Frontier's Flute Cup Tournament. It was first used to battle Houji's Mightyena, where it used Swords Dance before quickly failing to Mightyena's Fire Fang.

Personality and characteristics

Scyther is a fast and powerful Pokémon, giving Go the most trouble to capture out of all of the Kanto Bug-types.
