The Expert Belt (Japanese: たつじんのおび Expert Obi) is a type of held item introduced in Generation IV that strengthens super effective attacks.

In the mangaPokémon AdventuresSword & Shield arcIn PASS08, Sonia was revealed to have found an Expert Belt in Turffield after following the hints she received from a little girl. In PASS17, she was revealed to have given it to Henry, who gave it to his Sirfetch'd to hold during his Gym battle against Opal.
In the TCG
Expert Belt was introduced as a Pokémon Tool Trainer card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Diamond & Pearl Series (the Japanese DP Era) in the Arceus expansion. The Pokémon this card is attached to gets +20 HP and that Pokémon's attacks do 20 more damage to the opposing Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). However, when the Pokémon this card is attached to is Knocked Out, the opponent takes 1 more Prize card.
