Jessie's Yanmega (Japanese: ムサシのメガヤンマ Musashi's Megayanma) is the first Pokémon caught by Jessie of Team Rocket during her travels through Sinnoh.

Jessie caught this Pokémon as a Yanma in DP080 after Taisei battled and weakened it. After she captured it, Yanma was sent to Giovanni as their first successful theft. However, he immediately returned it after analyzing it and finding it to be too weak. Jessie then decided to train Yanma herself, not knowing that Yanma already knew Ancientpower. Thus, when she sent it into battle it quickly evolved into Yanmega.

• Jessie captured Yanma after someone else weakened it. This echos how she captured her Shellder In this case, it was Taisei and his Piplup that weakened Yanma, whereas James's Weezing weakened Shellder.
