- Even though the Mewtwo Strikes Back chapter explains Ash getting hit by Mewtwo and Mew's attacks that turn him into stone, it does not explain his petrification from the attacks.
- On one of the pages of Mewtwo Strikes Back, Misty's Psyduck and Brock's Vulpix is on Corey's Team and all of Corey's Pokemon are on Brock's team.
