Errors
Many errors are carried over from previous editions, so they are not listed here.
- On page 30, the description of the "Height Rules" section mentions Iris's Dragonite, despite not being present. This is likely due to the book recycling the content from previous editions and failing to update it.
- On the same page, Pikachu's height is listed as 0.5 m instead of 0.4 m.
- On page 31, Ash-Greninja is incorrect named "Ash's Greninja".
- On page 40, Togetic and Togekiss's type is incorrectly stated as Flying/Fairy. This errors also appears on pages 99 and 165. The background behind the Pokémon also implies the Flying-type as the primary type.
- On page 42, Eevee's metric weight is given the same number as its imperial weight.
- On page 43, Sylveon's weight is listed as 26.0 kg instead of 23.5 kg.
- On pages 72-73, Cosplay Pikachu are incorrectly stated to have originated in Kanto.
- Sceptile and Swampert's Mega forms are excluded from the "Chart of Mega Evolution" section from pages 214 to 217.
- On page 216, Primal Groudon is stated to be a Ground type, instead of a Ground/Fire.
- On page 220, Magnemite is misspelled as Magnetite.
- On page 222, Clemont's Chespin is referred to as Ash's.
- On page 227, Wartortle and Bagon are misspelled as Wartole and Begon.
