NOTE TO EVERYONE:

Hey. No moving stuff yet. We're going to be finalizing the epicodes for some and determining order (though usually it'd be by original airdate). TTEchidna 07:01, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, I took the liberty of finding the Pikachu short order.
If anyone finds any discrepencies, note them below...but otherwise, I think this is the order. I think I got them all... MaverickNate 03:32, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi, please can we move "The Birth Of Mewtwo" higher up in the table so it sits between "Snow Way Out" and "Slowking's Day"? This CD Drama was released originally in Japan just a couple of weeks after M01 and so it should really appear before "Slowking's Day" and its successors. Kidburla 20:52, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Sure. Done. —darklordtrom 10:34, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Apokélypse

I have read on Wikipedia about a new live action movie called Pokémon Apokélypse. What is the Epicode for that movie? SeanWheeler 00:26, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

its a fake movie. -- MAGNEDETH 00:33, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
But, if it is a fake, than shouldn't it be deleted from Wikipedia? SeanWheeler 00:40, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
What part of fake is it hard hard to understand? The creators themselves confirmed it to be fake. Wikipedia has articles that don't belong there from time to time. If I recall correctly, it's in the process of being deleted. Jellotalk 00:51, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Additions?

From the three most recent manga, Pokémon RéBURST is RB, Pokémon BW: Good Partners is GP and Pokemon Battle Stories is BS. Are those ok? Ataro 01:53, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Why?

Why are BW026="釣りソムリエ・デント登場!", BW023&024="ロケット団VSプラズマ団! (前編)&(後編)" and EP052="げきとう!ポケモンひなまつり/Princess vs. Princess" etc. while "ルージュラのクリスマス/Holiday Hi-Jynx" and "ワークでビバーク/Snow Way Out!" don't have a number? Imho it doesn't make sense and seems like despotism. --Bernd 16:01, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 Animated Trailer

Hi,

Shouldn't we add B2W2AT to the "anime without epicodes" section? As we have things like Slowking's Day and The Legend Of Thunder in there, so I think it should be helpful to have B2W2AT in there as well? Kidburla (talk) 16:03, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

B2W2AT doesn't fit the section; it's a trailer for the new games, not a special episode of the anime. --Mikuri (talk) 16:28, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Manga episode code

The final chapter for the Pokémon Pocket Monsters manga is PM117 whereas the Pocket Monsters HGSS code is PMHGSS instead of PMHS. PattyMan 18:33, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Added and corrected. --Pokemaster97 15:15, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
Can someone fix the bolded letters now? Currently, it only bolds H and S, not bolding G and S. --Abcboy (talk) 15:23, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
Done. Let me know if anything else needs to be corrected or changed. --Pokemaster97 16:26, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Final chapter info/confirmation

The final chapter for Pocket Monsters DP is confirmed to be PMDP59, whereas the final chapter for Pocket Monsters HGSS is PMHGSS23 and Pokémon Try Adventure's final chapter is TA47. PattyMan 03:24, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Ranger stuff

Some of the Pokémon Ranger mangas are missing their epicodes, specifically Set Out!! Pokémon Ranger, Pokémon Ranger -The 1st Mission-, and Pokémon Ranger The Road to a "Capture" Master. PattyMan 19:56, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Pokémon Origins

Shouldn't Pokémon Origin's Epicode, PO, be mentioned here as well? - Mr. Flix | Talk to me~ 11:42, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Pokémon Sword and Shield Anime Epicode

I wonder what it will be the epicode for Pokémon Sword and Shield anime since SS is already being used for Side Stories episodes? - unsigned comment from Luan (talkcontribs)

This is a possibility the staff are fully aware of, it's one of the things we're planning to take care of.--ForceFire 05:42, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
I suggest giving the SS for the main anime and thus changing the side stories to another epicode. Luan (talk) 13:46, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
My suggestion for the new epicode for side stories is SD, taking the first and the third letter from the word side. MH (talk) 14:29, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
In the event the side stories remain SS, what about SW from the first two letters of Sword? bwburke94 (talk) 04:05, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
It really shouldn't be worried about right now since we don't even know what the anime will be called. Advanced Generation proves the anime might not be called Sword and Shield. --HoennMaster 04:13, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
If the new series ends up being called "Sword and Shield", I propose SD (for the main anime, not side stories) as in Sword and Shield. JoeRunner (talk and stuff) 01:27, 15 September 2019 (UTC)

Add season epicode

The season epicode, S, should be mentioned. Can someone who can edit the page add it? JoeRunner (talk and stuff) 00:15, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Episodes formerly labeled as side stories (SS), now without an epicode

These are three Mystery Dungeon anime specials, a Pokémon Ranger special, and three movie prologues preceding movies 16, 17 and 18. Could these be added to the section "Anime without epicodes"? MH (talk) 09:03, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

Three years later and this is still an issue. Additionally, the Planetarium specials and A Ripple in Time do not have an epicode either. Clip shows also don't have an epicode but not sure if that should be included or not. KadenLovesVulpix (talk) 08:50, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

Epicodes for the 2019 series

The epicode SS is listed as "provisional". Now that we know the series is not titled Sword & Shield in any region, should we look into changing this? (If changed, I presume "SS" would be disambiguation if a side story previously existed there.) bwburke94 (talk) 16:04, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

PJ, for Pokémon Journeys, was proposed here, but it's still up in the air. JoeRunner (talk and stuff) 21:15, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

Updates

Now that the series pages go by their English names, I first and foremost think the significance of BW should be indicated for Black and White. I’m also wondering whether the Chronicles episodes should get a similar English-friendly epicode like Journeys did--KnightGalarie (talk) 22:29, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Pokémon Chronicles is purely a dub creation. In other words, it does not exist as an original version in Japan, and the Chronicles episodes are independent episodes of themselves. Therefore, it wouldn't make sense to come up with an epicode for Chronicles. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:49, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

Pokémon Evolutions

We should add Pokémon Evolutions epicode to this page. It's PE. Vmario97 (talk) 14:56, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

Hisuian Snow

So, we have now another problem. We need to think what epicode should be, because HS is reserved for Hōsō/side stories. Vmario97 (talk) 06:33, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

I'm not sure how epicodes are decided but SI could work after "Snowmelt Indigo", its Japanese name. Landfish7 06:38, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

Additions to "Anime without epicodes"

The following specials previously had epicodes under the old SSxxx numbering, but lost them as part of renumbering. I think they should be included in the "anime without epicodes" section.

Also, the movie prologues should be added here too:

Finally, I still think that the four animated trailers (B2W2AT, PMDAS, ORASAT and PMAT) and also the bonus segments should at least be mentioned here, even if only to say that they don't have epicodes and don't fit into the table. Kidburla (talk) 17:07, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

JNS/HIS

The format for JNS01-JNS05 should be added to the page, similar to how it's listed for the DP/BW/XY specials. Also the last episode of HIS is HIS03 which should be listed similarly to other completed series. Kidburla (talk) 17:45, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

Addition of Beyond the Pokédex?

I just noticed that on the Page of Beyond The Pokédex, there is a table of episodes, with currently one episode and it's epicode. Should this series have an Epicode, and if it should have, should it be mentiond somewhere on this page? Additionally, would it go into the category of "others" or into an entirely new one? Thanks! --Tzvi 20:08, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

I just added the "BTP01" link because i think having separate episode pages for BTP would be useful (for documenting the games and other media mentioned in the episodes, for example). If we do make it official though i think it should be in the "other" section, maybe. Anzasquiddles (talk) 10:48, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

Renumber the total episode codes

According to the Japanese total codes(Trivia in SM049), some special episodes are also included. But according to Bulbapedia, all cilp shows are numbered although they are never aired outside Japan, some special episodes aired worldwide but they are not numbered. So shuold the special episodes be renumbered ? Or should the Bulbapedia total Epicode be upgraded ? Pokémarion (talk) 06:55, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

Pokémon: Path to the Peak

What should this show's epicode be? I've seen PPttP being used at least once, but what about PTTP? PTP? something else? Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 08:47, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

After discussing with others on the Bulbagarden Discord, we've decided to go ahead with "PTP". Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 23:23, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
