拡張パック「破空の激闘」 Intense Fighting in the Destroyed Sky is the name given to the sixth Japanese expansion of cards of the Diamond & Pearl era of the TCG.
Information
Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky is based on the eleventh Pokémon Movie, Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet: Shaymin, including such featured Pokémon as Giratina, Dialga, Shaymin, Magnezone and Regigigas. The set, strangely, does not include Palkia, and as such is the first set by The Pokémon Company to include only a partial trio.
Trivia
- The only card in the set to include a DPBP# collector number is Shaymin, having never been featured as a Pokémon card before. Its number is DPBP#531.
- The set includes Heatran LV.X, continuing a trend in which promotional LV.X cards are reprinted in the set released immediately after their promotional release. This was also the case with Lucario, Garchomp and Porygon-Z.
- The set also introduces Trainer cards with a + at the end of their name. These Trainer cards have different effects depending on whether the player uses one or two of the same card at a time.
- A new feature to the Trading Card Game is introduced in the set called the Lost Zone. The Lost Zone acts as a second discard pile; however, because it is not called a discard pile, cards that use the term cannot collect cards from the area, and thus it is not currently possible to recollect cards that have been sent to the Lost Zone.
- Two of the cards in the set have not yet been revealed. Charizard from the base set, has been revealed, although it's "ability" and attack have been slightly altered.
- This set also includes the alternate colors of certain Pokémon, such as Drifloon, Duskull, Voltorb, and a few others. It is important to note that it does not mention that they are shiny, but they also have a unique foil background. It is also important to note that no legendary has been given this shiny status, even though the pack mainly revolves around these legends.
