I think that this page should neither be merged with [[Wii]] nor be deleted because there are differences between the original Wii and the Wii Family Edition. First of all, the original Wii is backwards-compatible with the Nintendo GameCube games or hardware while the Wii Family Edition can only play Wii games or hardware. Second of all, the original Wii has a GameCube controller port, which the Wii Family Edition does not have. And third of all, the original Wii is compatible with Wii peripherals, which must be connected through the ports, and Wii games which require such peripherals to play, while the Wii Family Edition is incompatible with those. Perhaps it is probably best to keep the Wii Family Edition the way it is. I think that this page should neither be merged with Wii nor be deleted because there are differences between the original Wii and the Wii Family Edition. SaturnMario, his talk and his contributions 21:52, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
