Prior to HZ054, ordered by his father, he was tasked to locate Laqua, in order to find the Rakurium, but failed the mission given by him.

In HZ054, after Amethio finished meeting with his grandfather, he mentioned that he wouldn't follow his father's footstep of failing to locate Laqua.
In HZ065, when Gibeon expelled Amethio from the Explorers, Gibeon asked if history would repeat itself, indicating that Amethio's father had also abandoned his purpose for the Explorers.
