Regarding this edit you made a week ago, I just thought I'd let you know that redlinks help us know which pages are wanted pages, and don't always need to be removed. In situations such as if it there's a broken link to the wrong page or a link to something that is obviously not notable or likely to ever be created, that link is usually fine to be removed or fixed. However, as I am currently drafting the Pokémon social media article, this link would eventually be added anyway, so there's no need to remove it. If you're unsure about a redlink, feel free to ask me or another staff member. Thanks! == Brazilian Portuguese localized names ==
Responding the question you sent to me earlier, I've been getting Pokémon GO's Latin American Spanish localizations in this online repo from twitter user @mattyoukhana: https://github.com/sora10pls/holoholo-text/tree/main . It contains up-to-date text dumps from all languages, which helped me with unreleased moves such as Mega Drain or the Max and G-Max Moves. You can find every move from the Brazilian Portuguese localization as well! I hope you can find it useful.

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Landfish7 03:51, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

Hey, sorry for the late answer, I'm still getting the hang of it. I have been using the Preview button, actually, but I'm one to nitpick even the stuff I've edited, so it's common for me to go back and re-read what I added and what others have contributed prior to me just for me to see something could be phrased better or stuff like that. However, I will definitely try to not keep clogging the Recent Changes. Thanks for the heads-up! Shinka (talk) 01:52, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

New Episode Content

When adding trivia for episode that is currently airing, please wait until after the episode airs before adding it.--BigDocFan (talk) 10:13, 15 July 2022 (UTC)

Repeating

Please don't add stuff that is already there. Playerking95 (talk) 10:44, 15 July 2022 (UTC)

Masters Tournament

I can't speak for Pikablu on why they removed your Dragonite trivia but it was poorly written and formatted and I don't think it was deemed notable. On that note, when adding any new content to a page, check how you format and word it.--BigDocFan (talk) 19:37, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

I realized I went kinda overboard with the links and stuff, but thought it wouldn't matter too much. My bad. Though, I do think the Dragonite trivia is notable enough, and probably will format it better and try to add it again after the Cynthia battle starts. Thanks for your input :) --Shinka (talk) 19:43, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Mandarin romanizations

Some characters have different pronunciations (including tone) in Taiwan vs. mainland China, and those duplicated pinyin romanizations are actually to reflect those differing pronunciations. --Abcboy (talk) 22:02, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

Oh, okay. My bad. I meddled in something I had no grasp of. Will keep that in mind :) Shinka (talk) 22:05, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

New airdates

I noticed that you have moved the airdates of upcoming episodes to different dates, what source do you have to confirm this?--BigDocFan (talk) 10:37, 26 August 2022 (UTC)

The anime airs on fridays, and none of those dates (September 2, 9, and 16) coincide with a friday. I thought it would be enough. Shinka (talk) 10:41, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
Just checked a calendar, those dates are for a Friday.--BigDocFan (talk) 10:44, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
Oh. Just double checked here. My calendar is wrong. Didn't even know it was possible. I'm sorry. I already changed it back to the original dates. Shinka (talk) 10:47, 26 August 2022 (UTC)

Userpage

I've noticed you've added a lot of information on your userpage, I recommend you think about splitting it into separate sub pages so it doesn't get clogged up. For example, User:Shinka/List of moves in Brazilian Portuguese--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 21:40, 8 September 2022 (UTC)

Done! Thanks for the heads-up. Shinka (talk) 22:58, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
Oi Shinka, tudo bom?

Hi Shinka, how are you? Are these modifications you're making for a longer article or is it just to learn Bulbapedia's tools? As I can't make changes to your main page, I wanted to offer to help with something and send this content to your own userpage. -Hikaru Wazana (talk) 20:40, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

Hey. Before anything else, thanks! I do intend to add everything that is in my userpage right now to Pokémon in Brazil in the future. I'm only doing this in my userpage so I don't have to be uploading unfinished content in that page. It's true, though, that I'm still learning the tools around here lol. Shinka (talk) 20:48, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

Anime Move Descriptions

It has been brought to my attention that you are making a few typos when making anime move descriptions, please check your spelling before posting, use the preview button as well.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 11:06, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

Preview button again

Hey just a friendly reminder to try to use the preview button and avoid editing pages by section. It really helps relieve stress on the server and helps keep a better catalogue of changes. Thanks! Landfish7 23:05, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for fixing those links on the Tera Blast (move) page. Don't know how I missed those! Landfish7 00:57, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

Only Pokemon in the anime

Just adding what myself and Force Fire told Fonn, I've noticed you're adding that certain Pokémon are the only ones to appear in the anime, the anime isn't over yet and others may appear in future series. For some of the Pokémon, this was the first series they were introduced in. Additionally, "drought" trivia are only notable if a considerable amount of time has passed. In this case, species absense are only notable if at least two series has passed since its last appearance--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 19:13, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

Ludicolo Teeter Dance

Was it confirmed that Ludicolo used Teeter Dance in JN145?--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 15:24, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

Brock calls out for a "Fura Fura Dance" and all nearby Pokémon start dancing. I just find it weird the move does not have any special effects to it like it had in SM. Shinka (talk) 15:28, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

User Page: Recurring supporting characters and rivals

Hello, may I ask for permission to remove or put the broken file links into a hidden comment on the table "Recurring supporting characters and rivals"? I am removing broken file links around Bulbapedia and saw that your userpage has quite a few. Nikuriku, Bulbapedia and Archives Junior Administrator (talk) 04:29, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

Generally, if the content is encyclopedic content destined for the mainspace, the broken file links are acceptable to have. It looks like this is a case of that here. The solution here is usually uploading the needed files, instead of removing our way of knowing those files are needed. MaverickNate 10:07, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
Hey, I went ahead and removed the broken file links. I currently don't know if that specific content will ever go in a mainspace page, at least in the way it is now, since I think it is somewhat overdone. Shinka (talk) 20:15, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

The legendary birds

Hi. Just letting you know, the official capitalization of the legendary birds used in the games does not capitalize legendary. Thank you. Landfish7 12:06, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Removing red links

Regarding this edit you made a week ago, I just thought I'd let you know that redlinks help us know which pages are wanted pages, and don't always need to be removed. In situations such as if it there's a broken link to the wrong page or a link to something that is obviously not notable or likely to ever be created, that link is usually fine to be removed or fixed. However, as I am currently drafting the Pokémon social media article, this link would eventually be added anyway, so there's no need to remove it. If you're unsure about a redlink, feel free to ask me or another staff member. Thanks! Landfish7 05:36, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
