History
Sidian first appeared as a hologram in The Ancient Poké Ball, alongside the other Explorers's admins. The first time he spoke and was seen clearly was in Quaxly, We Can Do It, judging Spinel over his last failure.
He made his physical debut in Reunion at the Ancient Castle!. At Hamber's request, Sidian and Coral accompanied him to the Galar region. In the next episode, after tracking down Amethio's location, the group arrived at the old castle where Diana was living at. Despite Hamber ordering them to stay on standby while he secured their target, Coral and Sidian invaded the location. He had his Garganacl indiscriminately take out the Pokémon living at the location before he and Coral cornered Liko and Roy, only to be stopped by the sudden arrival of Captain Pikachu. Once Cap took out Sidian's Garganacl, Coral snapped and recklessly ordered her Glalie to use Self-Destruct, allowing the Rising Volt Tacklers to escape and leaving the old castle in ruins.
In As Long as I'm with My Friends, Sidian and the other admins joined in a meeting to discuss the Explorers' next objective. Eventually, they decided to go after the Black Rayquaza.
In A Challenge from the Explorers, Sidian and Coral arrived in a seaside town in Paldea. Coral had led him there under the guise of finding something important, which was actually some rare Wiglett sweet buns. However, upon finding out they had sold out and that Liko and Roy had managed to get a box without even lining up, she left them a challenge letter on the back of Roy's Fuecoco. While Coral faced Roy, Sidian stepped in to take Liko on. Despite the rough start, the young Rising Volt Tacklers refused to give up and eventually broke through their foes' strategies. Impressed, the two Explorers decided to stop holding back, but were forced to withdraw after Sidian received a call to take part in mission involving the Black Rayquaza.
In The Plan to Capture Rayquaza, Sidian, Coral, and Chalce summoned the Black Rayquaza near Levincia by using a machine that generated an energy similar to that Terapagos emitted previously and had their Pokémon battle against the Sky High Pokémon. They started strong, unleashing powerful super effective moves, but lost control over Rayquaza once Dot managed to shut down the machine. Once again, Coral let her temper overcome her better judgment and commanded Glalie to use Self-Destruct, which collided with Rayquaza's Dragon Pulse. The resulting explosion was powerful enough to blast the Legendary Pokémon directly into the hull of the Brave Olivine.
In HZ046, along with Coral, Sidian enrolled in Naranja Academy as part of the Terastal Training. Sidian introduced himself to Clavell under the name (Japanese: オニギリ Onigiri), much to Coral's amusement.
In HZ050, Sidian was caught spying on Liko, Roy and Dot along with Coral by Clavell, believing that they were just wanting to know about their Academy colleagues, Clavell invited them both to watch Dot's battle against Iono, but eventually, Sidian left Clavell talking alone when Coral decided to go after food and Sidian went after her.
In HZ055, it was revealed that Sidian managed to pass the first phase of Terastal Training. During the Elite Four Tag Battle, Sidian confronted Rika alongside Tulip, but was defeated for insisting on protecting his ally's Pokémon. After a brief conversation with the Gym Leader about why this happened, Sidian left so Rika could begin her battle against Liko.
In HZ057, Sidian and Coral were seen with the other students during Clavell's speech that began the second part of the Training. Despite this, his Gym challenge was not revealed.
In HZ058, Sidian decided to have food at the Anything Eatery. Shortly after entering, he encountered Liko, Roy, and Dot again. When Dot's Quaxly accidentally crashed into Sidian's leg, he mistakenly assumed Dot had challenged him to a Pokémon battle. Seeing this as an opportunity to advertise and bring customers to the struggling eatery, Dot accepted the challenge and used Quaxly to battle Sidian's Garganacl. During the battle, the collision of Garganacl's Salt Cure and Quaxly's Low Kick caused salt to spread across the street, attracting the attention of customers. Although confused the battle ended without a winner, a hungry Sidian decided to partake in the eatery's new menu item, which he enjoyed.
In HZ064, Sidian and Coral surrounded Roy and Dot on Spinel's orders, abandoning their student disguise. In the next episode, Sidian and Coral battled against Roy and Dot to stall them, but before Coral's Glalie could finish off their opponents, they were interrupted by Grusha's arrival, so Chalce commanded the two admins to retreat. At their base the Explorers Admins gathered to ask Amethio if he had betrayed the Explorers by helping out Liko in escaping from a cave after seeing the footage recorded by Spinel's Beheeyem and why he did not catch Terapagos when he had the chance. Before Amethio could give a proper explanation, Gibeon arrived and expelled his grandson from the Explorers for helping their enemies.
Character
Sidian overall appears to have a serious and stoic personality, hardly showing strong emotions at times, although he can still get frustrated or irritated when insulted by others, such as his fellow admin Coral. He usually obeys the orders of his superiors such as Hamber without much issues. Like Coral, Sidian can at times be less disciplined and more aggressive than his fellow admins, though less often than Coral. Sidian has a ruthless and combative disposition when operating, as seen during the siege on Diana's castle where he not only disobeyed orders to standby, but also commanded his Garganacl to indiscriminately attack and take out every Pokémon in his path by having them inflicted with Salt Cure.
Nonetheless Sidian has his own personal limits and considers even Coral's volatile actions to be reckless. Sidian is notably level-headed and calm, and because of this he often stays around Coral to keep her volatile behavior in check. In line with his level-headedness, he appears to be surprisingly honorable, as shown in A Challenge from the Explorers, politely asking Liko to be his opponent and to fight with honor, without the use of dirty or underhanded tactics. Sidian's sense of honor is further shown in HZ055, telling Rika that he couldn't allow Tulip, his Tag Battle partner, suffer to guarantee his victory, and further remarking there's no point in disgraceful victories.

Garganacl is Sidian's first known Pokémon as well as his main partner. In Rivals in the Dark of Night!, Garganacl indiscriminately defeated most the Pokémon living at the old castle before being used to battle Liko and Roy. Captain Pikachu arrived in time to rescue them and Garganacl tried to hit it with Salt Cure, but Pikachu was able to avoid it and hit Garganacl with Volt Tackle, temporarily taking it out of the fight. However, when Coral recklessly commanded Glalie to use Self-Destruct, much to Sidian's protest, Garganacl was unfortunately defeated by Glalie's attack which took itself out as well.
In HZ055, Garganacl was used by Sidian in the battle against Rika. Largely because of their way of battling, Sidian and Garganacl were easily defeated.
In HZ058, Garganacl was used by Sidian in the battle against Dot and Quaxly. The battle ended without a winner after Dot decided to use the aroma of the new noodles and the salt that spread in the battle to attract new customers to Anything Eatery.
In HZ064, Garganacl was sent out alongside Coral's Glalie to confront Roy and Dot to stall them from rescuing Liko. In the next episode, it battled against Quaxwell and Fuecoco untill Grusha's arriving and it was recalled.
Garganacl's known moves are Salt Cure, Wide Guard, Stone Edge, Iron Defense, and Recover.
Aerodactyl is Sidian's second known Pokémon, which he mainly uses for aerial transport.
None of Aerodactyl's moves are known.
