Florando is an anime-exclusive town in Johto that was visited by Ash, Brock and Misty in the episode, Flower Power. It is located in between Azalea Town and Goldenrod City.
Every year, there is the Pokémon Exhibition, a gigantic outdoor Pokémon entertainment festival where Pokémon Trainers and Pokémon come from around the world to put on shows and perform. This Exhibition is why Florando is famous.
While they pass through Florando, Ash, Misty and Brock meet Bailey, one of the performers in the Exhibition. They help one of her Bellossom overcome its lack of confidence in its Contest-like performance.
Floaroma in sinnoh may be based on this.
