Tangrowth (Japanese: モジャンボ Mojumbo) is the evolved form of Tangela. Like its pre-evolution, it is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Tangrowth is a 6-foot tall Pokémon with a black body wrapped in blue vines. Its stubby feet are tipped with red. Tangrowth has grown a pair of blue arms that have three fingers that are tipped with red. Tangrowth's arms are boneless and are unable to respond to pain, meaning that the arms can break off and Tangrowth wouldn't mind if the situation actually did occur. A pair of saucer-like eyes peek out from beneath the tangled mess of vines.
Gender differences
A female Tangrowth's fingers are completely red while a male's fingers only have red tips.
Special abilities
Much like Tangela, Tangrowth can Template:M2 and Template:M2 its foes with its vines.
Behavior
Habitat
Since Tangrowth mainly lived in prehistoric times, its habitat must have been a jungle.

Trivia
- Its "hands" look very similar to those of Croagunk.
Origin
Tangrowth may be based off of an exaggerated concept of a shaggy caveman.
Name origin
Tangrowth's name is derived from tangle and growth.
Mojumbo's name comes from もじゃもじゃ mojyamojya, which means shaggy or unkempt. It is also possible that the "jumbo" part of its name refers that it is roughly twice the size of Tangela.
Its German name, Tangoloss, comes from Seetang and Koloss. Its French name, Bouldeneu, comes from boule de nœuds.
